WebAffairs, a growing web publishing company, is looking for an
intermediate web designer.

Skills
• 4+ years industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of industry standard software Adobe CS, Macromedia
suite, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS, JS, ACTIONSCRIPT, PHP, MYSQL is
preferred.
• Solid written and verbal communications skills are a must.
• Must be articulate and self-motivated.
• Must work well independently and in a team.
• College or university graduate with a design degree or diploma (formal
training in typography, graphic & interactive design, identity design
and information design).


Primary Responsibilities
• Ability to clearly understand and articulate the design parameters set
by the Creative Director.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Critique existing sites and designs and create new site architecture
and interfaces that enhance the user experience.
• Responsible for documenting the designs internally as well as for clients.
• User interface design, including use cases and information design for
applications.
• Working with clients to build strong relationships.
• Assist art department team in developing and implementing standards
for tools and techniques for development.
