As the charitable arm of the Avenue Road Arts School, Arts for Children of Toronto is a leader in providing high quality arts experiences to children, regardless of their financial circumstances. We offer Outreach Programs in visual art, drama, dance and music to schools and community groups in underserved areas throughout Toronto. All workshops are hands-on and are conducted by professional artists. The Scholarship Program gives children with financial need and an interest in the arts the opportunity to further develop their skills by participating in extra-curricular classes in visual art, drama, dance and music. Our summer program, the AFC Arts Adventure Camp, introduces campers to the magic of the arts, as well as traditional camp activities such as sports, organized games, swimming and field trips. With professional instruction in visual art, drama, dance and music, our multi-disciplinary program offers children, who would not otherwise have the opportunity, the chance to discover their creativity, develop valuable life skills and make new friends.
